If you have less than that, we’ll still come, but we’ll charge a transportation fee. Your scrap metal always brings in money, so you’re not just getting rid of it—you’re actually making money from it. How Scrap Metal Collection Works in Amsterdam
You won't have to lift or carry anything yourself. Our driver will arrive with a moving truck and load everything onto it.
- Call or text us and send a few photos of what you have. That way, we can see what you have ahead of time.
- We'll let you know when we can come and what we'll be bringing.
- Our driver will come to you and load the equipment.
- We'll weigh your metal, and you'll receive a receipt showing the weight for each type of metal.
- You will receive the amount via bank transfer.
We'll outline exactly what you'll end up with in a quote upfront. That way, you'll know exactly where you stand before the car even hits the road.
What is the minimum weight for free pickup?
The limit is 1,000 kg. If you're above that, we'll pick up your scrap metal in Amsterdam free of charge. If you're below that, we'll still come by, but we'll charge for transportation.
Don't know how many kilos you weigh? That makes sense—it's not easy to estimate your weight. Send us two or three photos via WhatsApp and include your ZIP code. We'll estimate your weight and let you know if you're above or below the limit and what you'll get for it. That way, you don't have to weigh anything yourself to know where you stand.

The choice between a box and a container has nothing to do with the cost. The cost depends on the weight of what we pick up. Do you have 900 kg of beams? Then we’ll just send a container, even if you’re under the weight limit.

What metals do we collect in Amsterdam?
We take almost anything made of metal. These are the four items we pick up most often:
- Scrap metal can be found in radiators, boilers, fencing, structural steel, and old machinery. Check the currentscrap metal price.
- Copper can be found in water pipes, electrical cables, and gutters. It yields by far the highest return per kilogram. Check theprice of scrap copper.
- You can recognize aluminum by its light weight. Think of window frames, wheel rims, ladders, and roof panels. Check theprice of aluminum.
- Lead is released during roofing and renovation work, such as lead flashing and old pipes. Check theprice of lead.
We also accept brass, zinc, stainless steel, cable, and batteries. What you receive depends on the type of metal, its quality, its weight, and the daily price at the time of pickup. All currentscrap prices are listed online.

Yes, you don’t need to have a business. The same rule applies, though: we’ll pick up items weighing 1,000 kg or more at no charge; for amounts less than that, we’ll charge a shipping fee. Send us a few photos via WhatsApp, and we’ll let you know in advance how much you’ll get.
That depends on the location. A moving truck needs space to load, and that’s not always possible in downtown Amsterdam. Send us your address via the app along with a photo of the situation, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
A pallet box will be delivered within 24 hours of your request. A container will also be delivered shortly after approval. Call or text us, and we’ll schedule a time that works for you.
You’ll receive payment for your scrap metal. We’ll pick it up free of charge for orders of 1,000 kg or more. If your order is less than that, we’ll deduct the transportation costs from your payment. The final amount you’ll receive is stated in advance in your quote.
