How Much You Can Get for Your Scrap Metal
Your payment depends on four factors: the type of metal, its weight, how clean it is, and the daily market price at the time of weighing. Metal prices fluctuate with the market, so we do not quote a fixed amount per kilogram.
Delivering your scrap clean and sorted yields the highest return. If there’s wood, plastic, or concrete mixed in with your scrap metal, it lowers the return. If you separate out the more valuable metals, we’ll pay for them separately. This is especially true for copper, aluminum, and lead, which command a much higher price per kilogram.
Brass, zinc, stainless steel, cable, and batteries can all be included in the same pickup. You don’t need to make a separate appointment for them.
