After a few weeks of installation or remodeling, you’ll have all sorts of things lying around: pieces of pipe, brackets, an old radiator, copper elbows, a roll of cable. If you throw it all in one pile, you’ll get the scrap metal price for everything. If you keep the non-ferrous metals separate, we’ll pay you by type. That makes a big difference per kilo, because copper and brass fetch much more than steel.

A pallet box has a capacity of 670 liters, takes up just over 1 m² of floor space, and can be stacked up to four high. It’s liquid-tight, so you can easily put a radiator with a little water left in it inside. For example, set up two of them: one for scrap iron and one for mixed non-ferrous metals. That way, you can sort the materials right as you unload the truck.
If you’re gutting a commercial building or undertaking a major renovation, a scrap metal container is a better fit. We offer these in 20, 30, or 40 m³ sizes. Do you need to remove shelving, piping, or other systems first? Our demolition and dismantling team can take care of that, too.
If the box or container is full, please let us know. We'll pick it up within 24 hours, and if you'd like, we'll bring an empty one right away.
From Application to Payment
You can request a pallet box or container online, or give us a call or send us a text message. You’ll receive a quote in advance so you know exactly what to expect. Here’s what happens next:
- The box or container will be delivered to you within 24 hours;
- Let us know when it's full, and we'll pick it up within 24 hours;
- We weigh each type of metal separately, and you'll receive a weighing slip;
- You'll receive the amount via bank transfer.
Pickup is free for orders of 1,000 kg or more. If your order is less than that, it’s still possible: we’ll simply deduct the shipping costs from your proceeds. If you make regular deliveries, apply for a Staalpas. With it, you’ll receive a higher price per kilogram than the standard rate.

No. In addition to steel, a boiler also contains copper, aluminum, and brass, and we process it as a separate stream. Please deliver it fully assembled, as stripping it yourself usually doesn’t yield a higher return. If you replace boilers frequently, we’ll place a locked container at your project site or at your business.
