New Scania for Krommenhoek Metals

On March 8, 2012, a brand-new Scania P230 box truck was delivered to Krommenhoek Metals for the collection and transport ofscrap metal. This truck, which, incidentally, is fully designed in the corporate style introduced last year, is equipped with a fixed body featuring a side curtain for quick and efficient loading and unloading. The truck will primarily be used to operate Krommenhoek Metals’scrap metal container service. This involves collecting and transporting the scrap metal containers located at our customers’ sites.

The design and production of the truck was a major project carried out through close collaboration between Krommenhoek Metals and its partners, namely: Scania Nederland B.V., which is responsible for the truck itself;Van Stenis Carrosseriebouw, which handled the truck’s bodywork;90 Graden Totaalcommunicatie, which provided the truck with its stunning design; andTipTop Reclame, which actually applied the advertising to the truck.

With this custom-built truck, we hope to serve our customers even better and to collect and haul awayscrap ironandscrap metalquickly and efficiently.
