The strategic acquisition of Elcinco Metalen by Krommenhoek Metals B.V. of Rotterdam was already announced in 2022. As part of this, the company will now change its name. Effective July 1, 2023, Elcinco Metalen will be known as Krommenhoek Metals Westland B.V.

This Rotterdam-based family-owned business in the metal recycling industry has been in operation since 1925. Krommenhoek Metals operates in the Rotterdam and Westland regions. However, it also operates nationwide, including through a container service.

The company likes to be a pioneer. In 2011, it began publishing online purchase prices. This was followed by a user-friendly app, which has already been downloaded thousands of times. That is why it was decided to continue operating as Krommenhoek Metals Westland b.v.
