Krommenhoek Recycling Group Named FD Gazelle 2026

This year, Krommenhoek Recycling Group ranks among the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands. *Het Financieele Dagblad* has named our group an FD Gazelle 2026 in the West region and the large companies category. This is a wonderful recognition of the growth we have achieved together in recent years.

Investing in the Future

In recent years, we at Krommenhoek Recycling Group have invested heavily in the development of our companies, new business activities, and further collaboration within the group.

What once began as a family-owned business in the metal trade has since grown into an international group of companies with various areas of expertise within the recycling sector—ranging from metal recycling and electronics processing to the recovery of precious metals and the production of ballast products.

With operations in Rotterdam, the Westland region, Tilburg, and Iceland, we are active in various markets, but we operate based on the same principle: extracting value from materials and making raw materials available to industry once again.

Growth as a Result of Collaboration

For us, growth is not an end in itself. It is the result of entrepreneurship, seizing opportunities, and, above all, the daily dedication of our people.

At Krommenhoek Rotterdam, Krommenhoek Westland, Whale IT Recycling, React PGM, Ballastproducten, and Málma in Iceland, we work every day to further develop our operations and services.

Every company has its own areas of expertise, knowledge, and customer base. It is precisely by combining these strengths and continuously improving our collaboration that we can continue to grow as a group.

The trust of our customers, suppliers, and other partners also plays an important role in this.

A nice recognition, but not the end of the story

The FD Gazellen Awards are presented annually by *Het Financieele Dagblad* to the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands. In 2026, 838 companies will receive this recognition. The official awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 19, at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht.

We are therefore justifiably proud that Krommenhoek Recycling Group has earned the title of FD Gazelle this year.

This is a wonderful recognition of what we’ve built together, and above all, a compliment to all our colleagues who contribute to this every day.

In the meantime, we’ll continue to do what we do best: run our businesses, collaborate, and keep building our companies and the future of recycling.
